The Power Of Gratitude

Can you imagine a young boy walking up to you to show appreciation for what you did for him two days ago?

You really did not expect it…

It came all the same…

My 7 year old son recently walked up to me to express gratitude for a gift I gave him two days prior.

He said thank you when I gave him the gift.

To refer to the guesture 2 days after with gratitude was not expected..

However it bought great joy and I sincerely felt like giving more to him.

The point is gratitude provokes  great emotions in us, a desire to do more.

Think about this…

Have you ever gone out of your way to do something for someone.

Or  gave a gift to someone but did not hear back from them…

No thank you note, no call…

The first thought that may come to mind is maybe they have been busy and will get to it soon.

After some time you may start thinking your gift or guesture was not appreciated.

Regardless of the way you chose to think about this, the truth is you feel appreciated when people say thank you.

You feel your effort or guesture was appreciated.

Gratitude is powerful…

Learn to express gratitude to God.

Focus on what is working and be thankful for it.

As the saying goes.." you attract what you behold" . If you spend your time focusing on what is not working, not only will you complain most of the time you will attract more to complain about.

I discovered the power of the power of gratitude and I can categorically tell you, it is life changing.

Set the year up to be an amazing year, start out strong with gratitude.

We are launching a 30 day gratitude challenge.

It is quite easy, every day write down what you are grateful for everyday for 30days

We will be sharing about gratitude this month.

You can do it, so get your praise on and have an amazing year.
