How To Get More Done Everyday.

You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win and expect to win. – Zig Ziglar

There are so many technological advancements made in the 21st century that helps us get things done in a very short time.

Gone are the days of snail mail. You can communicate instantly via email, text messages or chats.

Meeting with people is also a lot easier, teleconferencing or video conferencing have reduced the need for traveling for meetings.

Even though there are so many tools created to enhance lives, they have also increased the need to manage time more to accomplish all you set out to do.

While there are so many things you can do to enhance your productivity, the number 1 productivity hacker is planning your day.

Map out your day in great details and stick with your plan.

Create a time in your day to check your chats, social media accounts, emails. These could be great distractions if not managed properly.

You might find it useful, to disable the notifications from chat rooms or email alerts.

This way the only time you check these tools will be times allotted for that on your schedule.

Identify your time wasters, by this I mean activities you engage in that always consume more time that you plan for. I have heard many people describe Facebook as time waster while others see it as business promoting platform.

Know what works for you and plan accordingly.

One of my favorite writers  Jim Rohn puts it this way:

Never start a month without finishing it.

Never start a week without finishing it.

Never start a day without finishing it. -Jim Rohn

Think ahead and thoroughly plan for your day.

At the end of the day, look back and see what you have accomplished.

Not only will you accomplish more by planning your day, you will live stress free too.

Thinking about what you need to get done or activities missed clutters your mind.

Declutter your mind today by putting your plans in writing.

Do you have goals to accomplish this week? Map out a plan to accomplish them! Start your week strong!

Remember :

You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win and expect to win. – Zig Ziglar
