How To Boost Your Self-Esteem

self-esteem

Have you ever met someone with a poor self-image?

No matter how often they are admired they simply dismiss the compliments.

They sometimes assume people pass compliments to make them feel better about themselves. Does that sound familiar?

How you see yourself really matters, you can’t enjoy a good relationship until you truly accept who you are.

You may have been told you are not good-looking, creating an unpleasant self-image over the years.

What you have been told or the lies you have believed in the past may have shaped your life till now.

You can change how you see yourself today.

Wondering how? It starts by creating a new self-image with your words

The first step to boosting your self-esteem is to change the way you think about yourself. Start creating a new self-image today.

The problem experienced with self-esteem might not be as a result of the words spoken to you at any stage in your life. It could be as a result of what you did in the past and or refusing to forgive yourself.

Think about it this way, if you continue to beat yourself over the head regarding that particular incidence, will it change the past?  No matter how much you wish for it, it will not.

Will it adversely affect your future? Most likely will.

Holding on to the past does not help in any way.  Let go and move on!

Accepting  love from others can only take place if you love yourself.

Love yourself, invest in yourself and be the best you can possibly be.

Cheering you on  to success!

  1. Especially if you have to deal with bullies all your life…or so it seems. It takes a lot of work to build your self esteem back.
