Get Refreshed!

Image

Have you ever taken a walk on a hot summer day? Then you can relate with the refreshing feel that comes with a glass of cold water on a sunny day.

Daily responsibilities, dealing with people, helping loved ones and handling our daily chores, sometimes lead to exhaustion both physically, spiritually and emotionally. It is important to get refreshed, not just physically but spiritually as well.

Making out time to pray daily is a very effective way to nourish yourself spiritually. It does not have to be anything lengthy or formal. It just involves acknowledging that God can and is willing to restore your emotional and spiritual vigor.

Come to God boldly and ask for strength inside, ask for refreshing and watch Him step in to strengthen you!

Staying focused

Staying focused

The dedication and determination of athletes come to mind when I think about goals and life plans. When we set goals, and obstacles come our way what do we do? Just throw in the towel and move to another project or set new goals?

No! We keep running towards our goals with our eyes set on the finish line like an athlete would. Can you imagine an athlete competing at the Olympics giving-up? No, they don’t and the main reason is because they are determined and committed to their goals.

If you have set some goals for this year and it seems you are far from accomplishing them, go back to the drawing board and give yourself a candid assessment. Come up with practical strategies that will move you closer to dreams! Don’t give up! Stay Focused!
